The WARM Place
Grief Support Center for Children

In 1984, Peggy Bohme recognized the need for a group support center for grieving children after the death of her teenage son. Through her search for emotional support for her surviving daughter, Mrs. Bohme realized the need to reach out to other children and their families who were also grieving the loss of a loved one. The WARM Place was founded in 1989 and now, more than twenty years later, we continue our mission of providing grief support services to children ages 3-18 and their families, as well as young adults ages 19-25, who are trying to find a new way of living after the death of someone they love.
